Most people ask what on earth they should eat while on a cleanse? Many make mistakes and then get disheartened with no results, It really is worth the effort – you will not believe how your body will reward you for this! Read the post below by Yuri Alkaim, he has all the answers!

When cleansing it is important to make sure your body receives enough nutrients just so that the brain and organs can function at their best. Your goal is to bring those nutrients in with as few toxins as physically possible.
You probably already know that you shouldn’t use caffeine, sugar, dairy, meat or any processed foods while you are on a cleanse. You also want to stay away from processed wheat and other grains, that can also be allergen forming and hard on your system.
You might feel as though there is nothing left to eat, but there are plenty of delicious and nutritious foods left. While you are cleansing, your biggest ally is green juice. Green juice is made up leafy greens or wheat grass, foods that contain lots of phytonutrients, antioxidants and vitamins. Green juice is best when it is made fresh in your home juicer.
You can drink as much of this as you like when you are on a cleanse. Also, make sure you are also drinking plenty of water. If anything is more important than delicious, fresh, organic green juice, it is water.
Fruits, although they should be limited because they are very sugary, are excellent suppliers of energy and nutrients. Not all fruits are the same, however. Melon of all kinds, tomato, lemon, lime, apple, orange, blueberry and avocado, are all fruits.
Apples are a good fruit – moderate in sugar. We also like papaya because of its inherent digestive enyzme – Papain – and because it improves bowel function.
Avocados have virtually no sugars, and they are absolutely delicious raw and sliced for breakfast in the morning. Lemon and lime are not counted among sugary fruits and are excellent for detox and vitamin C.
Organic blueberries are antioxidant-rich and supply a number of important nutrients and a little, natural, sugar. Fruits are great breakfast and lunch items, but moderation, is key.
Vegetables should make up the remainder of your diet during the detox phase. Leafy greens, live sprouts, carrots, beets, and asparagus are essential.
Always choose dark green and very colorful, organic vegetables to eat. Lettuces, like red leaf, green leaf, romaine, spinach, arugula and kale are going to supply a ton of nutrition and fiber. They are excellent sources of iron and will help cleanse your blood. Live sprouts have vitamins, mineral, protein and enzymes.
They have a very cleansing effect, help your body work against toxins and resist cell mutation (Cancer.) Carrots and beets are root vegetables that are hardy, filling and full of essentials like iron, vitamin A, and beta-carotene. Asparagus, a grass, has potassium, thiamin and vitamin B6.
This is only a partial list with examples fruits and vegetables to eat and juice while you are cleansing. These foods are highly nutritious and will fortify your body’s immune system, cleanse your organs and fuel detoxification, but this list is not complete. There are so many delicious, cleansing plant foods available on the market. If you eat your foods raw, limit the amount of sugary fruit you eat, and buy organic, pesticide free foods, your cleanse can be nothing but a huge success!

shakes, meal replacements and other gimmicks.
Weight loss marketers know that most people want a “quick fix”
so almost every weight loss product advertises “instant” or “quick”results.
Here is a typical example I just received in my e mailbox - The heading reads -
“Lose 30 Pounds in 20 Days!”
Yea, right!
Weight loss marketers know that ALL of these diets, pills, powders, shakes and gimmicks are -
DESTINED TO FAIL!
In fact, they are BANKING ON IT!
They know the “dieter” will be looking for another “quickfix” product, which they will conveniently market under another name.
There is no “quick fix” weight loss program that will work in the long run. Period !
However there is a Permanent Solution that will correct the problem once and for all and guarantee you will never have to
diet again.
The Solution is to align your conscious desire and Subconscious intention concerning your weight.
Even the most well researched diet or eating plan will FAIL if youdo not go the “cause” that is hidden within
your Subconscious mind. Your Subconscious only cares about one thing – your survival.
If your Subconscious Emotional Weight Survival Program thinks you need to be fat in order to survive –
it will KEEP YOU FAT.
If you handle your emotional issues with food, anytime you get stressed or need to comfort yourself,
you will be EMOTIONALLY DRIVEN to eat the wrong foods, at the wrong time, in the wrong amounts.
The good news is this can easily be changed. Once that happens, the struggle is over!
Your Emotional Weight Survival Program or your FAT SWITCH will be turned off – forever!
This is the point of ZERO RESISTANCE.
Releasing your excess weightand STAYING at you ideal weight will be a non-issue.
And, it is easier than you ever dreamed possible. It is important to understand that overeating, eating the wrong foods, etc,
is the “effect” not the “cause” of your over weight problem. If you try to change the “effect” through dieting,
without changing the “cause”, you will continue to struggle with yourweight for the rest of your life. This is not new.
I didn’t discover this – However, THE WEIGHT LOSS INDUSTRY DOES NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW THIS -
because they cannot continue to flog their “quick fix” diets, books, pills, programsand gimmicks.
NOTHING will work for you unless you fully understand the Problem and the Solution.

Do you find it hard to trust others? Do you constantly feel let down and hurt by others?
The thing is, if maybe we have had a life that has not been so kind.. then it becomes easy not to trust and understandably. Maybe we go full circle of trusting too much and then learning not to, then trying again and so it goes on…..The secret is that all the people we meet are mirrors of ourselves, so we need to look hard!
When we look at it this way, it seems hard at first, but we realize that we are drawing these experiences to teach us something, and when we take responsibility, it is easier to understand why certain things happen in our lives both good and bad.
The bits we don’t like about those we meet…well maybe we need to change these things within ourselves, and the bits we do like should help us to love ourselves a little more…….Now we can forgive others and our experience and move on and grow!
I remember many years ago being presented with this idea and was mortified to think I was responsible for bad things that happened to me!
But when we truly get this concept then life becomes so much easier and we can grow exponentially!
Others are our mirror and the reflections should teach us love …… Life is about lessons, but mostly LOVE
So you see, when we learn to love and trust ourselves we have no concerns about others, we only draw reflections of our inner self!
So the next time your feelings are hurt by something someone said, take some time out and go deep inside yourself, extract the person involved and take responsibility. Ask within yourself why did this hurt and where within you do you need to heal?…. Does it take you back to a time when someone else said something similar, maybe a parent or teacher? Can you see that perhaps you held this memory in your subconscious mind and that is why you were perhaps sensitive to this persons words?
We all have hurts to heal, by taking responsibility and healing ourselves we make for a better life and a better world!

Hi all,
Well I would like to say I am back, but have to admit I am struggling to get back into the flow of my work
My partner Steve and I are both feeling very low and subdued at the minute, I lost my Mum in October 2010 and now Steve’s Mum so close it has left me with a mind full of questions, to lose loved ones certainly makes us question our own life, beliefs and purpose, I feel disorientated and unbalanced, obviously I have to quiet my mind and find my perspective, so I am spending a lot of time in the garden grounding myself and regaining that balance!
If there is one thing for sure, life is so short, and we need to make the most of every minute…. but I guess we are only human…
I will let you know when i have my new perspective
